The cold hands problem
Your hands go first, and everything gets harder after that
-
Photo 1
Close-up of bare red hands pressed together outdoors in cold weather, knuckles pink, sleeves pulled down over the wrists.
Twenty minutes in, your fingers stop cooperating
You are not in danger, you are just useless. Hands jammed in your armpits, shoulders up by your ears, quietly counting down to when you can leave.
-
Photo 2
A glove held between someone’s teeth while they use a phone with a bare hand, breath fogging in the cold.
Gloves are a trade, not a fix
Warm hands you cannot use. So off they come for the phone, the keys, the zip, the buckle — and then you are cold again with a glove in your teeth.
-
Photo 3
An abandoned paper coffee cup and a spent disposable hand-warmer packet on a cold concrete step.
The usual fixes are not fixes
Coffee goes cold in ten minutes. Pockets are not actually warm, they are just less windy. Disposable packets take half an hour to do anything and fade out before you are done.
How it works
Charge it, click it, pocket it
-
1.Charge it
Plug it in with the USB-C cable the night before, next to your phone. A full charge takes about [TODO: hours] and lasts [TODO: hours] on the low setting.
-
2.Click it
One button. Hold it to turn on, tap to step through three heat levels. It is warm in your hand in about 15 to 30 seconds, not twenty minutes from now.
-
3.Pocket it
Both sides get warm, so it does not matter which way it lands in your pocket. Take it out when your hands need it, put it back when they do not.
It charges your phone too
There is a USB-C output on it, so it doubles as a small power bank if your phone is running low. Not the reason to buy it, just a good thing to have in your pocket. [verify: output and how much charge it actually delivers, after sample testing]
Why a 2-pack
Nobody has ever had one cold hand
One warmer keeps one hand warm and you spend the whole time swapping it over. So we do not sell one. Two is the smallest pack, which means both hands at once — or one for you and one for whoever is standing next to you being brave about it.
-
One for each hand — Left pocket, right pocket. Done.
-
One for whoever you are with — So you stop taking turns.
-
One that lives in the car — For the day you forget the other one.
Two of the hand warmers side by side — what comes in the 2-pack.

Questions
Things people ask before they buy
[TODO: hours] on the low setting and [TODO: hours] on high, based on our own testing with the sample. We will publish the numbers once we have run it flat a few times. Charging your phone from it shortens that, because it is the same battery.
It is a lithium battery power bank, so it goes in your carry-on, not checked luggage. At [verify] mAh it is well under the usual 100 Wh limit airlines use. Check your airline before you fly; rules change and we are not them.
The high setting is warm enough to feel through a glove, but it is meant to be held. [TODO: publish measured surface temperature per level after sample testing.] If you want gentler, use low. Do not sleep on it or hold it against bare skin for long stretches.
About [TODO: hours] from empty with a standard USB-C phone charger. Easiest thing is to charge it next to your phone overnight.
Yes, though that is a side benefit rather than the point. It has a USB-C output and works like a small power bank. It will not take a dead phone to full twice. [verify: real-world charge percentage after testing.] Using it for your phone draws on the same battery as the heat, so towards the end you are picking one or the other.
[TODO: warranty policy — length, what is covered, how to claim.] Email us with your order number and we will sort it out.
[TODO: shipping policy — processing time, carrier, US delivery window, whether we ship outside the US, and any free-shipping threshold.]
[TODO: returns policy — window, condition, who pays return shipping, how refunds are issued.]
